What’s your worst hook-up story?
Ha! I plead the fifth!
How many tattoos do you have? Which is your favorite?
I have 5. I love all of them, but if I had to choose…probably my first one. I got it to remember someone really special to me and for that it will always be at the top. However, I have to say that the one I just got on the inside of my upper arm is pretty baller and gives me a lot of street cred, so that one might be my second fav.
who do you think asked your first question? I’m dying to know!
Ha ha ha, ok- I think it’s someone who is still at UGA, a fellow ad major and perhaps someone in one of my classes. Am I close????
Why do you never update your formspring?
Oh my god, I never thought people would actually ask me questions…so, I forget to check. Now I guess I will!
so I’m totally thinking about making one of these. How do you suggest starting it off Ms. Social Media Grady expert?
LOL, I’m not sure who this is…but I have a guess. Here’s the thing, when I first saw people doing this- well it was really only Allison Weiss, who is so famous that I was like, well I’m sure everyone has questions for her. But who wants to ask me questions, what do I know? Then I though, ah fuck it! So here I am, on formspring.me answering your question (my first question). I approach social media in a different way than other people in our industry who try to relate it back to their career or wannabe career. It’s very personal for me, which get’s a little gray when I realize all the strangers who follow my tweets and such. But you know what, why go through this crazy world alone when we can ask each other for advice and hey, if you want to take it there, you can even network. Building these internet relationships are tricky and I’m still trying to figure it out, but I’m making myself open to a lot of different things. For example, for a while I wouldn’t follow any tumblr’s I didn’t personally know. But I would see people reblog really interesting things and I started to break out. Long story short, just last night (after I made my formspring) I asked this brilliant high schooler I follow (http://ohmeohyou.tumblr.com/) about my little brother losing his virginity- I needed some advice about how to deal with it from someone his age, because I was kinda freaking out. Anyway, he answered my query and now I know that I think I handled it well. Obviously this answer is getting waaaaaaaay too long, but the jist of it is- Being a big part of social media means putting yourself out there, it might get messy, it might get personal, but in the end, you might just find some really great people to help you.
BTW, if you wanna read my question about my lil’ bro and the response from @ohmeohmy here’s the link. http://ohmeohyou.tumblr.com/post/365645864
And I highly recommend his blog about teenage angst, it’s delightful!
Hope that answered your question! See you in class?;)
